 | Jean P. Mercier is professor emeritus at the Catholic University of Louvain. After graduating from this same university in 1961 with a doctorate in chemistry under Prof. G. Smets, he worked at Princeton University (New Jersy, USA) with Prof. A. V. Tobolsky. In 1967, he established the High Polymers Laboratory in Louvain. He is the author of more than 75 scientific publications and several books in the areas of polymer physics and chemistry, and he holds several patents.
